December 6, 2010 - Nauthiz

Nauthiz

Nauthiz is the letter N

Anglo-Saxon rune poem (from ragweedforge.com)

Trouble is oppressive to the heart;
yet often it proves a source of help and salvationto the children of men, to everyone who heeds it betimes

Nauthiz is a rune of Fate, which is often described as troubling and cruel, usually because only the unpleasant things are attributed to it. Another meaning to Nauthiz is Necessity, that which needed. In the twisting, twining and weaving of fate, both benevolent and malevolent things are present. Yet in responding to each one, in it’s own way, it can bring help and salvation. Today is more about help and salvation. The trials faced have been somewhat prepared for, and while some pain will be present, the resolution will come quickly.
